Japan's Club Nintendo members can get a two foot-long card with which to summon life-size Miis on their 3DS.
As discussed among the Nintendo 3DS development team in arecent edition of Iwata Asks, plans were made to develop a large AR card as a reward for Japan'sClub Nintendo catalog. Now, just a couple of months after the system's launch in Japan, visitors to Club Nintendo can now get themselves a2.4-by-1.5-foot AR cardfor 100 Club Nintendo points. One side shows the standard"?"design, but the reverse will feature the Mario design for summoning Mario, or putting his hat on your Nintendog.
Of course, wemade our own giant AR cards, and... well, the less said, the better.
No news yet on if the card will make its way to the other Club Nintendo sites in America or elsewhere, but we don't think it's so ridiculous as to write it off.
